The perfect fall cocktail, gin, lime, and pomegranate juice, this pomegranate gin cocktail is delicious, and perfect for all occasions.
Hi!! This is Andrea from Cooking with a Wallflower, and I’m back this month to share with you a brand new recipe perfect for the holiday season.
I hope you’re enjoying fall and the start of the holiday season. It’s definitely going to look a little different this year, but we’re all just going to have to make the best of it. What are your plans for the holiday season? I’d love to hear from you!
Today, I wanted to share with you this pomegranate gin cocktail. It’s pomegranate season, and I am so obsessed with the vibrant red color of the fruit and its juices. So whenever I can, I try to use pomegranate juice in the cocktails and mocktails that I make. Pomegranate is so flavorful! Both sweet and tart. It makes the perfect addition to some of our favorite drinks. And the vibrant color just makes any cocktail or mocktail so festive. Perfect for any celebration.
For this cocktail, I added a little bit of gin, some lime juice for a little bit of tartness, simple syrup for sweetness. Then I added a good amount of pomegranate juice to elevate this cocktail and make it into a special seasonal drink.
In a small or medium sized glass, add gin, fresh squeezed lime juice, simple syrup, pomegranate juice, and crushed ice. Stir or shake until all the ingredients are combined. Top the glass with a splash of club soda for some fizziness and then more crushed ice.
Serve this pomegranate gin cocktail cold with crushed ice. Garnish with pomegranate arils or fresh mint leaves.
Enjoy!
