Perfect for Fall, this Dirty Pumpkin Chai Latte is swirled with pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, old fashioned oats, and strong brewed coffee.
Hi! This is Andrea from Cooking with a Wallflower. I’m back this month on Ask Anna to share a fall inspired recipe.
We’re already halfway through October. Can you believe it? Just a few more weeks and then it’ll be Halloween. And once that happens, Thanksgiving and Christmas is just around the corner. It’s officially the holiday season now. My favorite time of the year.
So of course, since we’re already well into fall, it’s time to share a brand new pumpkin recipe with pumpkin spice. This oatmeal latte is actually pretty similar to the pumpkin chai latte I shared previously. But it’s been elevated with strong brewed coffee, in case you want an extra pick me up in the morning. And I also added old fashioned oats to this latte. The oatmeal turns this latte into a filling breakfast too. Sooo good.
Hope you enjoy these dirty pumpkin chai oatmeal lattes as much as I do.
In a small saucepan, brew the chai tea for a few minutes in almond milk with old fashioned oats. I prefer almond milk because I feel it’s thicker and creamier. But you can use whatever milk you prefer. Add pumpkin spice and pumpkin puree and whisk until well combined. Pour the pumpkin chai into a mug. Then add just a little bit of strong brewed coffee to top it off.
Serve the dirty pumpkin chai oatmeal latte with whipped cream, a sprinkle of pumpkin spice, and a cinnamon stick.
Enjoy!
I’ll be back next month to share another recipe with you.
