Brussels sprouts tossed in honey, sesame oil, and soy sauce then roasted until slightly charred. These roasted honey sesame brussels sprouts are delicious and a great side dish.
Hi! I’m Andrea from Cooking with a Wallflower, and this month I’m back to share with you this roasted brussels sprouts recipe.
I’ve been so busy lately that life feels so crazy. It’s so funny how sometimes things just come in clusters. Lately, I’ve been going to bachelorette parties, bridal showers, weddings, baby showers. It feels like there’s something every weekend!
That’s where quick and easy recipes come in handy. I don’t always have time to cook these days with so many events scheduled on top of my usual work schedule. So I need something that’s simple and require very little prep. These roasted honey sesame brussels sprouts are delicious and perfect for a side. Or, if you’re me, I can make a lot of these and eat them on their own.
With fall just around the corner, brussels sprouts are now ready to shine as an ingredient. But rather than classic flavors for brussels sprouts, I wanted to give them an Asian twist. Just a few simple ingredients that you probably already have at home, and you can prepare a deliciously flavorful dish.
Preheat the oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum and lightly grease with olive oil. Set aside for now.
In a large bowl, add olive oil, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and minced garlic. Whisk until evenly combined. Add brussels sprouts to the bowl and toss until the brussels sprouts are coated in the sauce.
Place the brussels sprouts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Roast the brussels sprouts for about 10 minutes. Then turn the brussels sprouts to the other side. Roast for another 8-10 minutes. The brussels sprouts will be slightly charred on the edges.
Serve the roasted honey sesame brussels sprouts warm or cold.

I’ll try this! My Mom hates brussels sprouts so I hardly ever buy them…until now. 🙂
