Hi! This is Andrea from Cooking with a Wallflower. I’m back this month to share with you a warm and cozy recipe perfect for cold winter days.

Can you believe that we’re already halfway through January? And it has already been so eventful. Plus, with the days become colder, I think we’re in need of something warm and comforting and super cozy. What’s better than a mug of hot cocoa with spices on a cold winter day?

I love the flavor of this chai white hot chocolate. It’s creamy without being too thick. It’s sweet without being overly sweet. And the spices just takes this hot chocolate to the next level.

The sweetness of the white chocolate is perfect, melted in milk. The chai tea adds warm cozy flavor to the hot chocolate. Then as with all hot chocolate, it needs your favorite toppings. Add whipped cream or mini marshmallows if that’s what you like. Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top and serve with a cinnamon stick.

You’ll want this to drink for those cold days ahead. It’s perfect for a cozy day in while watching movies. Or perfect for pairing with some of your favorite cookies and treats.

Hope you’ll enjoy this as much as I do!

In a small pot, add milk and chai tea bags over low to medium heat. Once the milk comes to a simmer, add chopped chocolate and remove the pot from heat. Stir the chocolate until it has completely melted.

Remove the chai tea bags. Pour the chai white hot chocolate into a large mug.

Serve the chai white hot chocolate topped with whipped cream, mini marshmallows, and a cinnamon stick if desired.

Enjoy!
