Thank you HomeRight for sponsoring this awesome giveaway!
Welcome back to another week of “Love to Clean”! Last week I shared all my favorite cleaning products, what I’m currently using to clean my home, and today I’m hear to share why I’m naming the HomeRight Steam Machine Plus as my favorite steam mop. Make sure you stay ’til the end because I’m giving another one away!
It’s actually not quite accurate to say “my favorite steam mop” because the HomeRight steam mop is more than a mop, it’s a SteamMachine! A couple weeks ago I showed you how it could easily clean even the nastiest grout but today I wanted to show you why I love it not just as a SteamMachine, but also just as a basic steam mop. Let me also preface with the fact that this is my 4th steam mop, among ones I’ve purchased and been given as reviews, and this is my most favorite, the one I choose to use when I’m cleaning my own home.
Here’s why I love it –
- It’s light weight (which makes it easy to whip around)
- The triangle-shaped mop head makes it easy to get into corners and around furniture
- The head of the mop also swivels, which makes maneuvering the mop super easy
- It heats up in a flash! I usually don’t have a lot of time to clean so this is a really nice feature.
- The steam heats up to 205 degree temperature which kills 99.9 percent of germs and bacteria (a lot of steam mops on the market do not get this hot so your floors might look clean but aren’t actually clean)
- The steam is hot and the mop puts out the perfect amount so that it cleans but dries quickly. If you have kids you know why this is important! It also makes it so that I’m not worried about water sitting on my wood floors for too long.
- The handle folds down which makes it nice for storing it in the coat closet
Now that I’ve told you why I love it so much, let me show you why I love it. I’m a visual person so seeing something always helps me understand it more, oh and yes, I’m a total goob in this video, I kept saying it “vacuumed” and of course it does not vacuum because it’s a steam mop! I guess it’s that natural blonde coming out. 🙂
Now it’s your turn to enter to win one of these amazing SteamMachines! Fill out the Rafflecopter form below to enter to win and good luck! If you don’t win you should still get one, trust me, you will thank me after your first use! You can purchase them on Amazon for $128, and it’s worth every penny, because remember it not only cleans the floors but it’s also cleans grout, around toilets, greasy places in your kitchen, windows, mattresses and so much more!

My kitchen tile grout would be my first cleaning project – it is in need of a good steam cleaning.
Great giveaway. My best friend has one of these and loves using it. I have new tile floors and would love to use this. Thanks for the chance to win.
With a toddler and preschooler, my kitchen floor always needs cleaned. Would love to try this.

My kitchen could really use a good cleaning.. I know this would help me a lot!
I would first tackle the main level of our house. It is completely hardwood and in need of a good cleaning.
carol clark says
my kitchen for sure
Tile and grout will be my first job!
Sounds like a great mop!
I would LOVE to get down & dirty in order to get down & clean…REALLY clean…in our room off the pool on one side & garage off the other! Between sand, mud, & dogs, the 1″-wide grout (we didn’t put the tiles in! Some day, we’d love to change them…) is disgusting, I just know. Then I’d hit all the bathroom floors, & my granite & backsplash in my kitchen, & the wood floors, the insides of medicine closets, our cars, & a good part of the garage! Windows! I bet this wld be great on windows!!! Ours are always steamed w/salt from the air, & that is so hard to get off. I keep thinking of different areas to hit w/that bad boy. Oh, sigh, if only!
*streaked, not steamed. Darn you, autocorrect!
I would tackle my bathrooms first!
With 5 cats and 3 dogs, this would be an amazing thing to have. It would especially come in handy when I’m fostering kittens. You know how clean cats are? They don’t start that way. Trust me on this one.
Nancy Carr says
I love this steam mop. The first place I would do is the kitchen and then the bathroom. A great giveaway and prize. Hope to win. Also love what I learn from you.
Thank you Nancy, that means a lot. 🙂

I don’t know what I was thinking when we replaced almost all our carpet with light colored travertine. Everything shows! I would probably tackle my kitchen first!
The bathroom grout would be the first thing I worked on. It is bad. The dog loves to lay there after running around outside so it is filthy.
Pam M says
I wold tackle my kitchen and guest bathroom first.
Karen @ The Decorated Nest says
Been wanting to get one of these forever! fingers crossed!
The first room I would tackle would be my kitchen….I have tile in there and it could use a really good cleaning especially the grout. Then I would tackle the rest of the house….and all of the hardwood flooring and then the bathroom and all of the tile in there. So I guess I would tackle my whole entire house, lol.
Betsy Barnes says
If I won, I would tackle the bathroom first with the SteamMachine Plus. It would be fantastic in the shower and those hard to clean corners 🙂

Anna, thank you so much!!!! I can hardly believe I won the Steam Machine Plus!!! It came in the other day, and I plan on trying it out this weekend. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us! I have learned so much from you and look forward to reading your posts every day!

I would hit the kitchen floor without a doubt; that grout (grr). I have a large steam machine but I only haul it out twice a year, it’s a monster.
I would get to work on my kids bathroom!
My kitchen for sure!! The grout in there is diiiirrrttty.
How fantastic of Home Right to offer another machine! It just goes to show what a wonderful job you are doing Anna. 🙂 I wouldn’t knowwhere to begin with cleaning. Having an old 1952 concrete block home- I think I would start with the grout in the foyer. A pack of 7 rescue pups, a 17 year old son, and a chef hubby- there’s a lot of things to clean- constantly! Thanks so much for all you do and for the opportunity!
Megan A. says
I have never used a steam mop before, but I have many jobs for it. I’d start with my kitchen floor and move to the tile bathroom. So many possibilities!

Bathrooms first, then kitchen!
Tonya Atkinson says
It will definitely be my kitchen
I would say the bathrooms. All that tile needs a good cleaning.
I would tackle bathroom floors first with the SteamMachine Plus.
I would tackle my kitchen floor. The texture of the floor makes it easy for food to get caked in all the little crevices, and we have a messy toddler so a lot of food ends up on the floor at every meal.
Our kitchen floor! I have 2 small children and 2 dogs, so it is always filthy.
amy pugmire says
My kitchen floor needs so help asap.
Kate Lynch says
I would love to win this steam mop. Nearly our whole house, (except for bathrooms, mudroom and basement) is hardwood floors.
We don’t have a mudroom so everyone enters the house, not matter what the weather, through the front door. The tile in the hallway is always a mess. A perfect job for the SteamMachine Plus.
My bathrooms need the steam mop the most! I’ll be tackling it first!
My bathroom needs this the most, mostly the tile on the floors.

Just opened a small independent store and this would be great to clean the floors and bathroom at the end of every day. of course because of it ‘s size and weight, I would be able to take it home from the shop and finish my cleaning duties at home. I would just love one of these little buddies,
Angela S says
Would love this! My floors need this!

ALL my downstairs floors!
Two words: boy bathroom!

I have lots of tile ~ this would be great!
Our house has original wood floors from 1961. We have a cat and a yellow lab, that steam mop would be seeing my floors first thing out of the box! Well, besides my smiling face!
This sounds great! I was just talking with friends about the best steam mops. Gonna have to look into getting one of these for myself.
