In the spirit of year end round-ups and Christmas giveaways I wanted to highlight some of my favorite tools that have helped make all our projects this year possible, and giveaway the one that I’ve used the most, to hopefully inspire some 2015 projects in your home!
In the past I have put off painting projects or big tasks, like painting the kitchen cabinets, because I didn’t have the right tools. But this year I got to work closely with HomeRight, as a brand ambassador, and I got to see how when you have the right tools, jobs are SO much easier!
The first tool I had the privilege of review was the HomeRight Paint Stick. I used it to paint Malea’s room and transform it from dark (and mauve) to bright, happy Pillow Mint (by Valspar).
One of my favorite HomeRight tools is the HomeRight Finish Max HPLV Sprayer. This year I used it to paint the floating shelves I built for Malea’s room and I used it to paint all of our kitchen cabinets!
I also go to try out the HomeRight Finish Max Pro Fine Finish Sprayer, which is a step up from the HomeRight Finish Max. I used it to tackle painting the board and batten in our dining room and I was SO impressed with how perfect the finish was, no sanding was necessary!
When we weren’t tackling big house projects I was still loving my HomeRight tools. They have great products that make cleaning up around the house, so much easier and more efficient. I love the Deck Washer which made cleaning our deck, sidewalks, front porch and our outdoor rugs, SO much easier!!! If you plan on spring cleaning this year, this is a MUST HAVE product!
HomeRight also has lots of fun tools, like the digital temperature heat gun I used to make my rustic Christmas tealight holder.
I had so much fun making this tealight holder and since then I’ve used my heat gun for other things, like drying chalkboard paint when I’m in a hurry and it’s raining outside!
You’ll love these other heat gun projects by my fellow HomeRight brand ambassadors, it’s amazing the creativity in this group!
- Icicle ornaments
- Embossed Mason jar lids
- Gold snake jewelry bowl
- Embossed serving utensils (great hostess gift idea!)
- Melted crayon pumpkin
- Abstract serving bowl

And now, to end 2014 with a bang, I want to give you, not just one, but TWO, of my favorite HomeRight tools, one that helped me accomplish so many of my projects this year, and I’m sure even lots more in 2015! Fill out the Rafflecopter form below to be entered to win, good luck!!!

I have a LOT of painting projects on the list for the spring!
The first project we would tackle is to paint some rooms in the house we are buying. I’m on disability and feel so guilty that I can’t really help paint that much and this would be so helpful for us to have and cut the job in half the time. We haven’t moved in over 17 years and it overwhelms me and we are just starting packing up. This would really help get our walls painted so we can move in.
