Here’s a fun little tip that I discovered years ago, out of desperation. It’s a super easy trick for how to clean grout lines and you’ll be amazed at the results! (To see my tutorial post click HERE)
Do you hate how your grout lines get dirty and grungy?
Well I discovered that using a Bleach Pen to clean them does wonders. What I do is run the pen along the grout lines, let it set for 5 minutes and then wipe it clean.
I’ve taught many friends this trick and all of them have been amazed at the results!
Happy cleaning!!!
See one reader’s dirty grout transformation HERE.
Edit: After receiving this question from many readers I wanted to add this to the post. This tip works on any color of grout. The Bleach Pen will not turn colored grout white. In fact I have only ever used this trick on colored grout lines.

I really need to get a few of those pens! Our home is about 30 years old and the grout on the kitchen counters is hideous! I cant stand them, white tiles, with dirty brown grout! Ewwy.I have used the bleach kitchen spray, it works ok, but is kind of a pain in the butt. I will have to try the pen. Sounds easy enough.

A frugal way to refill the bleach pen when it runs out: take off the applicator part and refill with toilet bowl cleaner that has bleach added to it (like lysol toilet bowl cleaner with bleach). Replace the applicator part and you are ready to go. Just found your blog today..LOve [email protected]

I love your blog. I will be do this too. Hubby says, it's a good winter project for me. Do you know I have tons of marble flooring in my home? I will be doing this then if it works, I will seal the grout so I won't have to do it for a long time.

you can also use white vinegar and an old toothbrush.
