Strongly brewed coffee with some added pumpkin goodness, makes this pumpkin spice latte the perfect Fall pick me up.
Hi! This is Andrea from Cooking with a Wallflower. I’m back this month to share with you this pumpkin spice latte, a fall favorite for so many of us and a great pick me up for those chilly mornings.
It’s really starting to feel like fall. And some days, it even feels like we skipped right over fall and moved straight to winter, especially on days when it’s cold and windy. And if you’re like me, when your weekends are filled with Hallmark’s Christmas movie marathons. Lol.
But what I love is that I can wake up in the morning, take five minutes to make this comforting pumpkin spice latte, and be on my way to work. And as Thanksgiving is just around the corner, this pumpkin spice latte would be the perfect way to start the morning before all the cooking begins. Doesn’t it sound so tempting?
This pumpkin spice latte doesn’t just contain pumpkin spice. It has actual pumpkin puree. And this latte is so creamy with just the right amount of sweet. The maple syrup adds a little more fall to this simple to make PSL.
Tell me, what’s your favorite fall drink?
In a small pot, add almond milk, pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, and maple syrup over low heat. Use a whisk to stir until all the ingredients are well incorporated and foam begins to form on the surface. Pour the pumpkin almond milk mixture into a mug.
Now, slowly pour strongly brewed coffee into the same mug. Top with whipped cream if desired.
Serve this pumpkin spice latte warm.
Enjoy!
