Pomegranate and hibiscus tea topped with vodka. This simple to make pomegranate hibiscus vodka iced tea is the perfect drink for a warm spring evening.
Hi! I’m Andrea from Cooking with a Wallflower, and this month I’m excited to be back on Ask Anna to share a brand new recipe with you.
March is going to be such an eventful month for both me and my family. From birthdays (mine!) to weddings (my cousin’s), there are so many things for us to celebrate! So the next few weeks are going to be super busy with all these different events.
Since March is my birthday month, I thought we could celebrate together with this simple yet so delicious pomegranate hibiscus vodka iced tea. It’s a cocktail that takes just minutes to make.
There are always a few simple drink ideas and recipes that I have on hand so that if I ever need to host guests or throw a little party, I can quickly mix together a few ingredients. Vodka is one of those alcohols that go great with a lot of different juices. So it’s the perfect alcohol to get creative with.
This pomegranate hibiscus vodka iced tea is one of my absolute favorites. It only requires a few ingredients: vodka, hibiscus tea, pomegranate juice, and crushed ice. But if you don’t have these ingredients on hand, you can always substitute with whatever juice or tea that you do have. Which makes life so much easier, right?
Let’s make these cocktails!
Steep the hibiscus tea bag in hot water for a few minutes. Allow the tea to cool down for several minutes.
In a medium sized glass, add pomegranate juice, hibiscus tea, and vodka. Gently stir to mix the drinks. Otherwise, the alcohol will just sit in it’s own layer. Top the drinks with crushed ice.
Serve this pomegranate hibiscus iced tea cold.
Enjoy!
