Hibiscus iced tea sweetened with cranberry simple syrup. This cranberry hibiscus iced tea delicious, refreshing and the perfect mocktail for the holidays.
Hi! This is Andrea from Cooking with a Wallflower. I’m back this month on Ask Anna to share with you a brand new recipe perfect for the holidays.
I can’t believe that it’s already December! I feel like each day goes by so slowly, but when you look at the overall picture, time passes by so fast, especially the moment it hits Halloween. We’re already in December, and Christmas is just around the corner. Plus, we’re just weeks away from the new year. Do you have any plans?
With the holidays just around the corner, I wanted to share with you a delicious mocktail that’s perfect for serving your guests during the holidays. I know, that even though it’s cold, and most of us like to talk about hot chocolates, lattes, warm apple cider, and chai tea. But, when it comes to festive gatherings and parties, I prefer my drinks cold — like cocktails and mocktails.
In this case, I wanted to do something with simple ingredients, something that’s easy to make, and yet still festive. So I’m sharing with you this Cranberry Hibsicus Iced Tea.
Steep a hibiscus teabag in hot water for several minutes before removing the teabag. Let the hisbicus tea cool for several minutes.
Once the hibiscus tea has cooled, stir in cranberry simple syrup. The rule for this cranberry simple syrup is just 1:1:1. Easy to remember, right?
Top the drinks with crushed ice, and garnish with dried sweetened lemon wedges, fresh mint leaves, or flowers. This iced tea is simple, delicious, and festive. It’s perfect for serving your guests during parties and dinners and even for weekend brunch.
Hope you have a wonderful winter holiday! See you in the new year!
