We are SO CLOSE to being done with our Master bedroom and bathroom renovation!!! It has been 5 long weeks and I am SO over the constant construction dust, and the constant cleaning, but I know it’s going to be worth it in the end!
I should have a final reveal sometime next week (hopefully!) but I wanted to give you a little update because it’s starting to look really good. Here’s what it looked like last time I updated you…
They’ve done a ton of work since I took these pictures and as of last Friday they had finished all the trim work and wainscotting. But my favorite thing that got finished last week was the bathroom floor, it is even prettier than I had imagined it would be!
To save money, Matt and I decided that we’d do all the painting and the contractor gave us 2 days to do it, so our entire Saturday and Sunday, this last weekend, were spent filling in holes, priming and painting. I looked very glamorous all weekend, if I may say so. 😉
It was A LOT of work, A LOT, and I was super grumpy about it on Saturday morning, but by the end of Sunday I was so proud of what we accomplished and how good it looked.
We are in the final stretch, in fact, as I type this they are in there setting the vanity, hanging lights, tiling the shower, etc. They tell me it will be done this week, so my fingers are crossed! 🙂
I can’t wait to see what it’s going to look like when it’s done, I told Matt that once it’s finished, I might never want to leave! I’ll be back soon with a final reveal but what do you think of the progress so far?
And because I’ve already had a ton of people ask me about the paint color here’s the info – Kelly-Moore, Synchronicity.
