I cannot believe it’s already November! Where did this whole year go?! As we get closer and closer to the end of 2014, my life gets crazier and crazier. Does this happen to anyone else during the holiday season? Surely, I can’t be alone on this. To try and keep the stress at a manageable level, I try, TRY to plan things in advance.
We usually spend Thanksgiving with my dad’s side of the family and everyone gathers at a church building for food and festivities. The number of kids just exponentially (it seems) increases every year… which means things can get pretty noisy. I am in charge of the tables this year. When we are trying to get everyone gathered and the last minute prep is being wrapped up, it’s hard to keep 20 kids still and quiet. And we’re not talking like actual quiet or stillness, just a reasonable semblance of it so when they ring the dinner bell it can be heard. So, I’m going to try this:
If you think you could use something like this at your table this Thanksgiving, download and print out your free copy HERE. It’s formatted to an 8.5×11″ page. I am the oldest grandchild on my Dad’s side and we have a wide range of grand and great-grandkids at our gathering, aging anywhere from Baby N’s 8.5 months up to my nearly-30 years. Because of such a wide range, I tried to include at least one activity that most ages could do. Enjoy! Happy November and may your holiday season start warmly!
