Hey, it’s Krista again. I’m gonna keep this short and sweet – with a freebie downloadable treat at the end. If your life has been as crazy as mine lately, your to-do list is probably longer than the day so I won’t keep you too long.
My oldest little guy started school a couple weeks ago. He is loving Kindergarten! He comes home everyday and tells me all the things he’s learning. They’ve been focusing on letters and he’s learned about putting the letter sounds together to make words. He loves writing words, actual words, on our little chalkboard. We’ve had “THE CAT IN THE” on the board all week – he ran out of room for HAT. It was a pretty distraught moment when he realized that. He’s also discovering how to “sound it out”. I love watching him get so excited and it still surprises me when he strings together words and writes entire sentences. I’m pretty sure I need to take a picture of the chalkboard, because there’s just nothing quite like little kindergarten handwriting. It’ll be a barely-legible man scrawl before I know it.
So, to commemorate all the great learning going on over here (and because I’ve actually wanted one of these for the boys’ room for a long time), I have an “ABC” printable typography poster for you today. Check it out!
The image prints to an 8×10″ size and is high resolution for crisp, clean printing. The background is white, which allows you to print on any paper you like right at home. Light backgrounds are recommended. All you have to do is download the file, save it to your computer and then you can print it as many times as you wish. Please don’t share the file, but send your friends and family to this post so they can download it themselves. This helps with file corruption issues, among other things. If you have other questions or comments, let me know!
If you want a monocolor version, check out my Etsy shop. If you would like to customize the image (colors, for example), you can send me a convo from my Etsy shop and I’d be glad to help put your special touch on this image.
