I am so excited to share the pictures of my celebrity couples themed party with you! Last year I was in Cambodia for my birthday so I didn’t get to have a big party, and this year I wanted to make up for it.
It took me a long time to come up with the theme for the party because I wanted it to be perfect. In the end it wasn’t even my idea, it was my friend’s idea, but I thought a celebrity couples theme would be so fun to see what people came up with! After my 1920’s party and my Mad Men party my friends have learned that we go all out, so now they go all out in their costumes!
Before we get into details I have to share my two favorite costumes from the night (well other than mine). 🙂 Our friends Chris and Erin are awesome and always get into the themes of my parties, and this party they topped the charts. They came as Tyler and Marla from the movie Fight Club and were spot on, Google it, you’ll see what I mean.
My other favorite couple costume were our friends Tim and Nikki that came dressed as Mary and Healy from Something About Mary. Every time I looked at them I cracked up, I just couldn’t get past the hair and Tim’s creepy drawn on mustache!
I’ll show you more celebrity couples at the end but first let’s talk details. Where we live, June is the perfect time of year to throw an outdoor party so we took advantage of our 2-tiered back yard and created a beautiful outdoor event. I’ve been super busy lately so I hired my friend Heidi to help me with decorations and all the party details; it turned out fabulous!
There was lots of glitz and glamor and even a few “Oscars”.
We served a build-your-own bruschetta bar and lots of fruit, which were a hit among our guests.
I also set up a bar with Hollywood themed drinks, like the Bee’s Knees, Mint Julep, Golden Glamour and more!
We also had a photo area where guests could take pictures of themselves with props. My friends and I had a little too much fun taking pictures of ourselves being silly. 🙂
Some of our other celebrity guest included…
And Kate from Lost, who came solo because her husband, a firefighter, got called into work.
The party was a ton of fun and I’m already dreaming up ideas for next year’s party! Here are a few more pictures, just for fun. 🙂

I’m sorry, it has been so many years so I don’t have a copy anymore. When I’m looking for cute, customized invitations I always go to Etsy (dot) com. There are so many fun and creative options on there! 🙂
