Roaring 1920’s Party Pictures

I know I usually post a recipe on Sunday but I couldn’t wait to share these 1920’s party pictures with you!!!  There are SO many great pictures from my party that I couldn’t wait any longer to post them.  Plus I have some completed party projects to show you!
Here’s a picture of the bar with the chalkboard menu that I made.  “Giggle Water” was what they called an alcoholic beverage in the 1920’s.
Mason jars that we used for the glasses.
Wine barrels that I borrowed from my father-in-law decorated with candles, 1920’s phrase cards and antique photos.
I wanted lots and lots of candles!  I think we set up about 150!  It was a little breezy so we weren’t able to light all of them. 🙁
More candles (and my unfinished garden).
This was my accessories mannequin.  I spray painted the “pearls” and handmade all of the hair clips and headpieces. (A lot of the hair clips are missing because the guests were wearing them).
The Men’s Smoking Lounge.  Complete with cigars (that hadn’t been set out yet when the picture was taken).
Gun check.
Empty bottles to go along with the Speakeasy theme.
Delicious desserts made by my friend Heidi of Event Design by Heidi.
And now some pictures of me and my fabulous friends/guests:
I have very beautiful friends!
I really wish you all could have been there!  It was the best party I’ve ever thrown, other than our wedding. 🙂  I better start dreaming up my 40th birthday party because it will be hard to top this one!
I posted the tutorial on the Photobooth here  so check it out!.  Click here to see the pictures I posed on Facebook.
Special thank to:
My husband for helping me to plan such an awesome party!
My best friend Heather for helping me set up, tear down, etc!
Pink Purse for the amazing dress!
My friend Tricia for making my hair look awesome!
My friend Bethany for taking all of these amazing pictures!
And to all of my friends for showing up, going all out with your costumes and making my party the best it could be!

Anna! Wow! So much fun. I hosted one over New Years Eve this past year and it was the most fun we've had in a long, long time. Lots of work but so worth it! I love that you hosted one in the summer, I would like to do that next time so we can have it outside. Great job…and you are so right your friends (and yourself!!) are BEYOND beautiful, they look straight out of the 20's! :)Heather

    Hi Anna,

I love the pics of your party, can you tell me where you got the cute guns in the basket? I need to purchase some for my party and I can’t find them anywhere. Thanks so much for your help. Again great party pics.

Thank you. I actually bought those at the Dollar Tree and spray painted them black because I couldn’t find what I was looking for either.
