Teacher Appreciation Day is quickly approaching (as is the end of the school year, yikes!). I absolutely love my daughter’s Kindergarten teacher and want to give her something that will make her feel very loved and appreciated. I’ve been in the classroom a handful of times this year and it’s pretty amazing how she manages the kids, teaches them and cares so much about each one of them! I know I’d go crazy after about 1/2 a day in a classroom!
In my search for the perfect gift for Malea’s teacher I’ve put together a round-up of some of the best Teacher Appreciation gifts ideas!

I also polled my readers on Facebook to see what the teachers out there said are their favorite gifts that they’ve received over the years. Here are some of their favorites:
- Trip to the day spa
- Gifts that come from the child’s heart – notes, cards, pictures
- Gift cards so they can buy things they want/need
- Bath and Body Works hand sanitizer and a candle
- Chocolate covered strawberries
- A gift certificate to a nice restaurant
- One teacher said she received a Christmas decoration one year and now every year she remembers that child when she hangs it on her tree.
One thing they all said was no candy and no apple anything, they get a lot of that every year! Do you have any great teacher appreciation gift ideas? I’d love to hear them if you do!

I would love to see more ideas for the male teachers out there. Our school has a few and now a days it’s not just the women teaching our children.

Nicole, tools are always a great gift for guy teachers. the label could read. thanks for giving us the tools we need or thanks for the learning tools this year. there are so many inexpensive little gadgets out there at lowes, home depot, ace hardware. those are the ones here in nashville. it would be cute in a galvanized bucket or small tool belt. would be so cute! food is always a great idea too. LOL!! guys love food! so any kind of reusable container for the classroom with brownies, cookies, etc in it. they will love it. especially if your little one helps you make them 🙂 coffee gift cards or baskets are great too. I have several guy friends who are teachers. they would love all these ideas.
