I’m not sure if my favorite thing about Thanksgiving is the turkey or the side dishes. When I think about Thanksgivings from my childhood the thing I still remember is my aunt’s sweet potato casserole. I always love the traditional side dishes but it’s fun to find new ones too, which is why today I’m sharing a roundup of delicious Thanksgiving side dishes, perfect for switching it up this Thanksgiving! To get the recipes click on the name of each dish to take you to the original post.
This has always been a favorite in the Moseley household. I learned very quickly that every good, Southern family serves grits casserole with their Thanksgiving meal, something I’d never heard of growing up in California. 🙂
