Our WHITE Paneled Ceiling!!!

I know a white ceiling isn’t something people get really excited about but my post today is all about my white ceiling! Let’s start with a nice before picture, which will explain why I’m so excited!

And here’s a good one from right before we moved in. Yeah, that’s a lot of green!

It was bad! What I want to know, is who paints a ceiling green?! Well anyways, we moved in about 19 months ago and the ceiling has driven me crazy every. single. day. You can’t ignore it because it’s a huge ceiling and even though we’ve made a ton of improvements to the house I still hated the ceiling and I felt like it made all the other stuff we’d done look bad.

So if you follow me on Instagram then you know what’s coming because this President’s Day our ceiling got a makeover!!!

Isn’t it pretty? It totally changes the look of the house and makes everything look so much brighter!!!

When they first finished painting it I kept seeing green, like the green ceiling had burned itself into my eyes, but after a few hours I got used to it and now I’m in love with it!

I think a white paneled ceiling is timeless so I see myself loving it for many many years to come! We also started installing baseboards last weekend so pretty soon our upstairs main living area will be finished! Woo-hoo!!!
