The Easiest and Most Delicious Peach Crumble

Baked sweet juicy yellow peaches topped with delicious crispy crumble, perfect for a quick and easy summer dessert.

Peach Crumble | Cooking with a Wallflower

Hi everyone! My name is Andrea. I’m a registered dental hygienist and a food blogger over at Cooking with a Wallflower. This is my first time contributing to Ask Anna, and I’m so excited to share my recipes with you. I hope we’ll get to know each other pretty soon!

One of my favorite summer fruits are peaches. White or yellow, it doesn’t matter. I love them both. There’s so much flavor in one fruit. It’s sweet, occasionally tart, and so very juicy. So while these delicious juicy peaches are in season, I want to use them as often as possible. In honor of National Peach Month, August, I want to share with you a recipe for the easiest and most delicious Peach Crumble. It’s so simple to make with less than 5 ingredients and requires very little time. I’m sure that once you’ve made this dessert for the first time, you’ll be making as often as I have.

Each bite is filled with sweet juicy peach and crunchy crumble. So delicious and simple to make. It’s definitely one of my go to summer desserts. I hope it will be yours too!

First, preheat the oven to 375oF. I usually do this first before prepping everything else. That way I don’t have to wait for the oven when I’ve set everything up.

Next, cut up the peach into small pieces. There are two options. You can cut the peaches into slices or into small bite size pieces. I opted to make mine into bite size pieces because it’s easier to eat. I also recommend cutting off the red area where the pit seed is because sometimes that part can be bitter.

Sliced Peaches

Diced Peaches

Fill the ramekins with the diced/sliced peaches almost all the way to the top. Leave only enough space for the crumble. Peaches are filled with juice so as you bake the peaches, they will begin to shrink as the juice escapes the fruit.

I used 6 oz ramekins for this recipe, but you can use whatever size you like and adjust the amount of peaches and crumble as needed. Place the ramekins into the oven and bake for about 10 minutes to start softening the peaches.

Peaches in Ramekins

While the peaches are baking, make the crumble.

In a medium sized bowl, add butter and break it apart. I used two forks to do it.

Add brown sugar to the butter and mix until evenly combined.

Butter and Sugar

Next, add the flour. Combine the flour with butter and brown sugar until they’re evenly incorporated and appear crumbly.

After about 10 minutes, remove the ramekins from the oven. Top the ramekins with the crumble, and place the ramekins back into the oven for another 20 minutes.

Bake the peach crumbles until the top has turned crispy and a golden brown. If it’s still soft, bake for several minutes more.

Remove the ramekins from the oven, and allow them to cool for a few minutes.

Serve the Peach Crumble warm. Enjoy!
