If you follow me on Facebook and/or Instagram then you probably saw that a couple weeks ago I got to go tour the Better Home and Gardens campus. Wait what!? Yes, for real I got to go to the Better Home and Gardens headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa!!! It’s still so surreal that I can barely believed it really happened, however I have pictures to prove to myself that I was really there and I have LOTS of pictures to show you today! 🙂
So wondering why on earth I was there? Well a couple months ago I got an email from Better Home and Gardens saying that they wanted to promote their products at Walmart and they wanted me to partner with them. (Yeah, I was pinching myself to make sure it was real!) I was one of 25 fabulous bloggers they had chosen to bring out to their headquarters to show us all the product lines and upcoming products. It was so much fun and I left feeling so inspired!
My favorite part of the trip was getting to see all the behind the scenes stuff. I love knowing how things work, and seeing how they are put together, so touring 1/2 rooms where they do photo shoots, the test kitchens and the gardens, was so cool.
One of my other favorite things was seeing all the amazing Better Homes and Gardens products that are available at Walmart. Yes, Walmart! If I’m being honest I’d have to say that’s probably one of the last places I’d think to look for BHG style but I was more than impressed with all their products! It actually gave me hope that I could have a house that looks like a million bucks, without spending a lot on it. Are you ready to see a lot of pictures, with a lot of great products? Below each picture I’ll attach a link to the product so you know where to find it. 🙂
We were all drooling over this genius storage chest with a slide apart top. How smart to make the top slide, instead of lift up, so you don’t have to move everything on top when you want to put something inside!?
Isn’t the color of this room fabulous! I wouldn’t have thought to go this bold but I loved it!

You can see why I was feeling so inspired! We got to see so many fun products that are available and others that aren’t quite available yet. The only problem was that we all wanted to take home the things that weren’t available yet. You better believe some of us will be watching like a hawk for certain products to come out! 🙂
It’s hard to say which part of the trip was my favorite but I think the biggest thing I took away from it was how to style things to look expensive, without them actually having to BE expensive. I’m only able to give you a glimpse of the Better Homes and Gardens products available at Walmart but there are so many more that are insanely affordable!
From now until next June I will be posting a mini makeover, every other month, that will show you how I’m using these fabulously stylish and affordable products in my home. In just a couple weeks I’ll be posting my entryway makeover and I’m SO excited to show it to you!!!
Okay so I have to ask, which of the new products is your favorite?
