Happy Holidays! Wendy here, from Pretty Well Organized to share some tips for saving money this holiday season.
Holiday shopping might be one of my absolute favorite times of the year! I love giving gifts to family and friends. There is no better feeling than to give to others, in my opinion. The only downside: paying for it all! I usually try to cinch the belt a little tighter in other areas so I can delight in the season through giving.
Recently, I crafted a coupon organizer to help with this very task. I keep it with me at all times to help me save a little more here and there. I’ve tried coupon binders and file folders before, but the bulkier, the less likely I am to use it. This simple and small coupon organizer fits neatly in my purse and helps keep me on track and under budget.
I started with a simple, small organizer I found at Target for a couple bucks.
I simply added varying colors of washi tape to the tabs that came with the organizer to add a little personal flare. From there, I used my label maker to add categories to the contents of each tab.
The entire project cost me under $5 and has saved me MUCH more than that in the few days I have used it. It is so small, I find myself carrying it everywhere, and thus, saving more than ever with coupons.
Here’s to a great holiday season & great shopping deals. Cheers!
