Cleaning Paint off Skin

Cleaning paint off skin {a quick and easy tip} -- Ask Anna

I don’t know about you but when I do painting projects I usually end up with paint all over my hands, and sometimes even my arms and legs!

Cleaning paint off your skin can be tough when you don’t have the right product but recently I was re-introduced to Fast Orange, a product I remember my dad using as a kid.  I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of it before, but Fast Orange is by far the best way to get paint off your skin.

While your hands are dry, place a small amount of Fast Orange in your hand and then rub your hands together.  Rub them together, making sure to scrub every part that has paint on them.  Fast orange has a nice exfoliant in it so your hands will feel nice and soft when you’re done. {smile}

The paint on my hands always comes off quickly and easily, but the paint on my fingertips can be a little tougher sometimes.  After rinsing the rest of the paint and Fast Orange off my hands I place a small amount in my opposite hand {opposite of the hand you’re going to clean} and scrub my fingertips back and forth in my palm.  Depending on how many coats of paint are on my fingertips, sometimes I have to do it a couple times.

After a couple minutes of scrubbing my fingertips, my hands are all clean and my hands are nice and soft!

Here’s a before and after picture for you!  I’m telling you, Fast Orange is amazing stuff!  Not only will it clean paint off your hands but it will also clean grease and oil off your skin!

    Does this work for oil based paint or only latex? I have been doing some staining with oil based paint and it is nearly impossible to get off!

      I’ve never had it not work. One of my FB followers said it even got off oil based stain!
