Thanksgiving is a holiday all about gathering the family and being thankful for what we have. As a kid I remember always enjoying Thanksgiving because our family made sure there were fun things for the kids to do, so I wanted to carry out the same tradition and make sure there are lots of fun things for the kids at our feast. Here are a few Thanksgiving ideas for the kids in all of our families! Make sure the kids’ table is set up with lots of things to keep them entertained {so that you can enjoy your dinner}. Thanksgiving Kids Craft ~ Pilgrims
Today I’m going to share a quick, easy and super cute Thanksgiving kids craft that will make the kids’ table fun and adorable! These cute little pilgrims are a fun addition to the kids’ table, and you can fill them with all sorts of goodies: crayons, candy, their napkin, or anything else! Step 1: Cut out all the pieces of the pilgrim treat boxes with your Silhouette. Instead of printing the eyes in the pattern I bought googly eyes from Michaels. I don’t know about you, but I am one of those people that hates glue. In my opinion… Read More

A few weeks ago I shared the progress on our kitchen/living room demo, and today I want to share my kitchen design board, to show you where I’m heading. This is the part that gets me really excited. I love dreaming about what the kitchen will look like and then seeing it slowly come to life. In my mind I can already see it, and it’s going to be amazing when it’s done! It’s probably going to be a year or two before it’s perfect, exactly the way I want it, but every little step counts. Doing a kitchen makeover,… Read More

Superhero Birthday Party
I have a 16 year old. Crazy. Our daughter, that we are in the process of adopting, turned 16 this last weekend and we celebrated with a superhero birthday party, complete with a murder mystery, super villains and lots of fun. The theme of the murder mystery was a super hero convention where a super villain showed up, only to be found dead on the rooftop. Here are some pictures of some of the shady suspects. Wonder Woman and Superman Cat Woman, Intrigue, and the Masked Bandit Rex Ruthless and Cat Woman The Winged Defender and Crowned… Read More
