Hi it’s Wendy from Pretty Well Organized, and during my time blogging, my #1 question is “What are your favorite organizing products?”. I get this question almost daily and today I thought I would share my favorite products here, with Anna’s lovely readers! Here are my top 5 favorite organization products: Clear Boxes I prefer clear boxes to any other box because you can always see, at quick glance, what is contained in the box. These are a Best Seller on Amazon and they’re what I use to store all kinds of things in our home. Baskets I use baskets… Read More
Open Shelving in the Kitchen (Finally!)
For the last 5 years I have wanted open shelving in my kitchen. I love the way it looks, it’s clean, organized, decorative and functional. In our last house I faked it by just taking the cabinet doors off and painting the back of the cabinet, but in our new house I wanted open shelving for REAL! This is what our kitchen looked like on the day we moved in. It has tons of potential but let’s face it, it was pretty ugly. We’ve been up to our eyeballs with projects like tearing down and building walls in the living… Read More
How to Clean the Vents Behind the Oven Door Handle
Reader Question: Do you have a hint for cleaning the vents on the oven door that are behind the handle? I have tried small paint brushes, Q-Tips, toothbrushes, and it never looks clean. Wondered if your vinegar trick from window tracks might work. Any more ideas? Answer: Oh, I hadn’t ever thought of using a small paint brush to clean in between tight areas. That’s a great idea! But before we talk about how to clean the vents behind the oven door handle, let’s discuss what exactly is on the vents. Here is a picture of mine, which I’ve never… Read More
Vegan and Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars
Who doesn’t love a gooey, chewy chocolate chip cookie? It’s the classic that no one can resist. Warm out of the oven, melty chocolate, crispy edges, but soft in the middle. The solution…chocolate chip cookie bars! Simply press the cookie dough into a baking pan, bake, cool and cut into squares. My recipe for this easy treat happens to be gluten, egg and dairy free. These chocolate chip bars… Read More
How to Clean Chrome Fixtures and keep them Clean & a Giveaway!
When we did our bathroom makeover last month one of the many changes we made was switching out the faucets. I’m just going to be honest, I was NOT sad to see the pink flower faucets go! I’m sure at some point in time they were super cool but not anymore. To bring the bathroom into the current decade I partnered with Price Pfister and picked out a very classic-style faucet. One of my favorite things about this faucet is the swivel spout, it makes rinsing out the sink much easier! I’m really into the classic look of polished chrome… Read More

If you’ve read any of my posts, you’re already aware that I love parties and gifts! In my last post I shared ways to incorporate baby gifts into the decorations. Sometimes Life Just Happens
Hi friends. I’m posting this today because I’m heading to Tennessee for the funeral of my husband’s grandfather. It’s crazy because just a few days ago we were talking about his planned trip to visit us in California on May 18th, and then last Friday afternoon he was admitted to the hospital and died suddenly on Saturday. It’s crazy how sometimes life just happens and things you never thought would happen, happen. I don’t share too often about my personal life on this blog but I have to say how thankful I am for Matt’s grandfather. He was an incredible… Read More
