This post is sponsored by EasyClosets but, as always, all opinions are my own.
I am so excited about this project. When we moved out of our old house one of the things I was saddest about leaving behind Malea’s organized closet.
We’ve made due the last year and a half but I finally got so fed up with her not being able to reach her clothes, and not having any toy storage, that I emailed EasyClosets and said “HELP”!!!
I went on their website and created the perfect closet for Malea’s current closet space. Now that she’s older her needs have changed a little so I designed a very different closet this time. She is VERY into dressing herself so I knew I needed to have the majority of her clothes accessible for her to reach. I also knew that I wanted lots of toy storage because she doesn’t have a big loft bed anymore, that can hide all her toys. 🙂
I love designing things so this is always my favorite part of the process (that and having 20 boxes show up on the doorstep a few days later!). The EasyClosets website also has a cool feature that allows you to see the closet in 3D so you can get a good idea of how it will build out. Yes, I am totally a nerd when it comes to this kind of stuff.
After ordering the closet it ships the next day and is usually delivered just a few days after that. I love their quick turn around time because after designing such a cool closet I was super excited to get it installed!
Another great feature is that all the boxes are numbered and labeled very clearly so you know exactly what’s in each one. This makes the building process go quickly and very easily, hence the name “EasyClosets”. 🙂
Each box is also packaged really well so you don’t ever have to worry about the parts being damaged during delivery.
After getting everything ready to install it was demo time! Here’s a shot of the closet before we demoed it. See how the hanging rods are all really high? Fine for an adult but not for a 6 year old!
I was SO excited to get rid of the ugly mauve too, I can’t believe her whole room used to be that ugly color! Nothing a fresh coat of Cool Gray paint (by Valspar) can’t fix though!
After the paint was dry the closet installation process went quickly (the whole thing took us less than 3 hours, start to finish). The directions are very well written and make each part of the process so simple.
I was really impressed because when we installed Malea’s closet in our last house there were a few things that were unclear in the directions and I mentioned that in my review, but since then they have gone back and made additions to the directions that made everything SO easy this time!
I can’t wait to show you the final reveal but you’ll have to come back Wednesday to see it! AND on Friday I’m going to be giving away a $1,000 credit to EasyClosets so you can build your own custom, organized space!!! Which space in your house would you organize with a $1,000 credit?!

How nice! I was just telling my husband yesterday that I’m going to go through all of our closets and purge/organize them and this inspires me to get moving on it! I love the look of your daughter’s closet and can’t wait to see the reveal!
