You’ve seen a couple of my recent laundry room projects, like our industrial shelves tutorial and the hooks I installed, and if you follow me on Instagram then you’ve also seen some sneak peeks of other things I’ve been up to in the laundry room. But today I’m going to show you the whole laundry room. I love how it turned out and I actually enjoy being in there now, rather than trying to get out as fast as I can!
One of the things I love doing is revisiting pictures to see how far our house has come. Since this is actually the second makeover I’ve done in the laundry room (in less than 2 years) I thought I’d include the before picture and the before the before picture. 🙂
I enjoyed the red, white and teal laundry room, for a season, but in the end it didn’t fit the style of the house and I was over it. So we transitioned from bright reds and teals to neutral whites, grays and natural wood tones, it’s so much better!!!
To save money I spray painted the red knobs with Rust-O-Leum’s oil rubbed bronze spray paint. I also painted the door handles because they were still the original bronze color.
Other than the shelves, my other new favorite thing in the laundry room is the gorgeous, new Tuscan Bronze Glenfield faucet from Price Pfister. I love the way it looks in here and it’s the perfect style to go with the new shelves, which is why it was the inspiration for this whole makeover! Oh and it’s 1000 times better than the original faucet, don’t you think?!
Another new addition is this chevron patterned indoor/outdoor rug. I was so tired of looking at the ugly linoleum floor so I bought a rug large enough to cover almost the whole floor! Someday I’m sure we’ll replace the flooring with tile but it will probably be awhile and I thought this was a good temporary solution.
Here are a few more pictures of some of my favorite things in our “new” laundry room.
Well I’m off to do some laundry and enjoy my new pretty laundry room, what do you think of our (second) laundry room makeover? What’s your favorite part? I have too many favorites, I don’t know if I can pick just one!

Thank you!!! 🙂

Love your laundry room! I noticed your dryer door opens toward your washer, probably making it harder to transfer clothes. Did you know you can easily swap the door by unscrewing the hinges, flipping the door over, and attaching the hinges to the holes on the other side? Made the world of difference for me! My husband thought I was nuts because he didn’t know you could do that 🙂

Thank you so much Nikki! I think we’ve actually moved the door before but totally spaced on doing it when we moved into this house. We should probably get on that because it is kind of a pain. 🙂
