The vacuum and steam mop do a great job at cleaning up every type of mess, from smeared/dried avocado to spilled water from a sippy cup.

How would you compare this to the Oreck Versavac?
I like both but this one is a lot less bulky and it’s thinner so it fits right under the cabinets and other small spaces. However the vacuum on this is only made for hard surface floors so you can’t vacuum your carpet, like the VersaVac does. This one is also nice because you can steam and vacuum at the same time w/o having to switch back and forth. I have both but I’ve been reaching for this one the most. 🙂

Hi Anna, this looks so nice! Exactly what I need for my two young kids and dog! However, my husband says I can’t use a steam mop on our hardwood floors. He says it will causing cupping. I see your demonstration is on hardwood floors, so does that mean it is ok food wood? We have original 60+ year old floors. They are sealed, but not impenetrable. What do you think?
This is made to be used on hardwood floors so it doesn’t put out a huge amount of moisture like other steam mops do.

? What is your opinion on this Bissell for cleaning up pet mess? My dog has accidents everywhere and it seems that my Shark steamer is setting in the odor more than lifting and cleaning it
I don’t have any pets but I would recommend adding a little essential oil, lemon/lavender/orange, something to disinfect as you steam clean. 🙂
