One of the things I am most excited about, in our new house, is our pool!!!

I can’t wait to have a pool because I know we will live in it on these hot summer days (it was 115 yesterday!).  I still need to stock up on pool toys, and other pool stuff, but for now I have all the essentials ready for our first swimming guests.

The two things you need the most, when having people over to swim, are towels and snacks! Excited for our first swimming get-togethers I went out and got stocked up on both. I used my set of Lands’ End canvas totes to organize the snacks, and the laundry hamper makes the perfect place to toss wet towels when we are done with them.

I stocked up on white towels for the pool because they are easy to keep clean and you don’t have to worry about them fading in the sun.

Don’t you just love this swing? It’s one of my other favorite things about our new backyard. I see myself spending hours sitting here, swinging and talking to friends while we watch our kids swim and play.

We also do a lot of swimming on the go, such as swim lessons, trips to the water park, swimming at grandma’s, etc. For my on the go swim bag I used the small Lands’ End canvas tote and packed with all our swimming essentials.

    If I won the Lands End bags, I would choose the chocolate color! It is different than the usual navy, but still neutral for any activity!

    These totes look great. We have a pool pass for the first time this year and need something like this. So far I’ve been making our diaper bag work but I like the idea of a designated pool bag.

    I would choose spruce/natural for my color and would use them to store toys neatly for when my grandchildren visit:
    Dress-up clothes in the hamper, Books, Blocks/Legos, BabyDolls with accessories in separate monogrammed totes. Easy to access for play and easy to put away and look tidy in between visits.

    Oh these are wonderful! I’d use one for pool things for sure. One for the library. One in the car for the essentials of Mom’s taxi–an extra towel, some snacks, wet wipes, tissues, a few dollars, etc. I like the Natural/True Navy.

    natural/navy or natural/spruce….I’ve got a big one that my mother in law gave me about 15yrs ago. i still use it and they are SO durable! We live in FL now, so they would be put to excellent use going to the beach as well as for organizing on the back porch with pool stuff!

    It’s hard to choose between the all natural and the chocolate. One could be bleached to be kept clean and the other wouldn’t show the dirt!

    Redoing teenage daughter’s bedroom and get her organized. This set in Curry Lemon would be useful in many ways from laundry, art supplies, school stuff, closet items, etc. My minds racing with possibilities 🙂

      As for the color, either the navy, spruce or chocolate. I like the darker colors best.
