I found this recipe for dark chocolate no-bake cookies a long time ago and I’ve been waiting for an occasion to make them. Last Sunday I had the perfect opportunity. I have to warn you this is a little gross but it’s also funny and creative. {My husband will die when he sees that I posted about this}.
As you all know my daughter has recently been potty trained. Last Sunday when I dropped her off at the church Toddler Room I told them that she had been trying to go “poopie” all morning and to make sure and take her so that she wouldn’t have an accident. Well about 1/2 way through the service I got called out because she had “poopied” in her panties and only wanted me to change it. {Lucky me} Well let’s just say that it wasn’t pleasant. I cleaned her up and took her back to the Toddler Room and headed back up to the service. When Matt went down to pick her up the teacher said that they had been finding pieces of Malea’s “accident” on the floor. They thought it was hilarious but I felt horrible!!!
I wanted to do something nice for them since they’d had to deal with such a mess and that’s when I remembered the dark chocolate no-bake recipe! I thought “how perfect!” I’ll make them cookies {which they will love} and the joke will be that they kind of look like Malea’s “accident”. Of course Matt was mortified and thought it was a terrible idea, but I thought it was funny!
I got to work in the kitchen and here’s what I came up with:
Mmmmm, I love no-bake cookies! {See the 1/2 eaten one, top left, yep, that’s mine!}
Nicely wrapped with brown twine and a little note apologizing for the mess.
All three of the teachers loved them and thought it was a hilarious idea. Like I said I know it’s a little gross but it’s pretty funny too, if you think about it. 🙂 On a side note these no-bakes are delicious! I think I’ve eaten 10 of them already!

Love this story–and I'm glad you liked the cookies! I also made them once and mixed in a bag of white chocolate chips. It was a different texture, but a richer flavor.
