I love Fall, don’t you? I love Summer but by the time Fall rolls around I am SO ready to be done with the 100+ degree weather. I always welcome the cooler temperatures and the changing leaves are my absolute favorite!
Today I thought I’d give you a little Fall home tour to show you what our house looks like all decorated for Fall. This is our 3rd Fall in this house but only my second year to decorate because the first year we were busy tearing down walls. 🙂 As we finish up projects in the house I find that I enjoy decorating it more and more.
Speaking of finished projects, I just painted our front door, what do you think of the new color? It was red before, which was fine, but it wasn’t my style. The blue is much more “us” and I think it ties in WAY better with the decor that’s in the house. 🙂
This year I used a lot of white pumpkins to decorate because I think it’s a fun change from the typical orange and I feel like they look good with the other decor I’ve got going on. How cute are these little white pumpkins from Trader Joe’s?!
I also had a lot of fun adding Fall flare to our open shelves, especially now that we finally finished the subway tile back splash.
I can’t wait to show you the entire kitchen makeover, we aren’t quite finished, but we are SO close!
I love these “thankful” leaves we made a couple years ago, it always blesses my heart to read them when I get them out each Fall. I put the other one in our dining room, hanging over the buffet.
There are more white pumpkins in the living room, but tied in with pops of color because you have to have some Fall color, it can’t be all white. 😉
This little bar set, on the console table, behind the couch, might just be my favorite. The crystal glasses were my grandma’s from the 60’s and Malea put together the little bouquet of flowers (my little decorator in training). 🙂
And one last little corner between the kitchen and the dining room.
That’s it for my Fall tour! If you’d like to see last year’s tour, which is totally different, you can check it out HERE. I hope you all have a wonderful week and don’t forget to stop and admire the changing leaves. 🙂
