I am getting so excited about our outdoor living space! The deck is done, the kitchen is almost done and I’m dreaming about how I’m going to decorate the living space! Next to the kitchen is a large empty space where I want to create an outdoor living room. I can see us spending tons of time out there in the summer months, relaxing on the couch during a BBQ with friends, watching the kids swim, watching the sun go down, you get the idea, we probably won’t be in the house much this summer. 🙂
While I was dreaming about what the perfect outdoor living room would look like I stumbled across the Arhaus outdoor living collection. They have so many incredible pieces that I immediately fell in love. The most important thing for the space to have is a comfortable outdoor couch. I want the living space to be inviting and the Arhaus Wyatt 4-piece sectional is just that! I just want to curl up on it with a good book.
You’ve also probably figured out by now that I love chandeliers! I have them in the pantry, our closet, Malea’s bedroom, my office and the dining room, so when it came time to picking out lighting I wanted to bring the indoors out. I found the Louise chandelier and I knew it was the perfect light for our outdoor living room!
It’s rustic and fabulous at the same time, it’s going to be perfect for the space!
To finish out the space I want to build a coffee table with the leftover Ipe wood that we used on the kitchen cabinets. It’s very similar to teak wood, but less expensive. I also think some of the Arhaus lanterns filled with candles and greenery will make the living room space feel comfortable and beautiful.
Even though this living room is outdoors, I want it to feel comfortable and beautiful, just like the inside of our house. I want our guests to feel at home and that they want to come back. Here’s a look at the overall design. What do you think? What would you add? What would you do differently, if anything?
