I don’t normally post posts like this one but I was so pleased with my after Christmas, springtime table setting, that I had to share it with you. I loved the way my Christmas table was set up but when it came time to clear it off, I needed something clean and simple to replace it.
I found this picture in my ??? magazine and decided to use it as inspiration.
I totally admit, I have a hard time coming up with creative ideas on my own, so I love it when I can find a good inspiration picture to mimic. 🙂
Believe it or not, I had all these glass containers laying around my house so I set them up on the table, in no particular order, and then filled them with inexpensive flowers from Trader Joe’s.
Don’t you find the flowers at Trader Joe’s addicting? I can’t go in there and NOT buy a bundle. They are so cheap and they always add the perfect amount of color to our home.
They also make me happy. There’s just something about fresh flowers that always put a smile on my face. 🙂 In fact I’m smiling just thinking about it while I write this post!
I remember the first time I got to go to Pike’s Market in Seattle, I’d always heard about the fish market, but what I didn’t know about were all the flowers! I was in awe walking through and seeing all the gorgeous bouquets of flowers. If I lived in Seattle I’d be there all the time buying beautiful flowers for my home!
What about you? Are you a flower kind-of-girl, do they make you smile and put happy thoughts in your mind, like they do for me? I didn’t used to think I was a flower kind-of-girl until I had my own home and I saw how much joy a simple bouquet could bring to it. 🙂
I hope today is filled with color, joy and laughter… 🙂
