Welcome to another day of 15 ways to organize for less than $15! Today I’m going to show you the easiest (and cheapest) way to organize tupperware lids.
Tupperware lids are probably one of the most annoying things to store, in most kitchens. You can stack your storage containers but what do you do with all the loose lids?
The solution is easier than you might think… All you’ll need is a medium-sized basket from your local dollar store. I set my basket on the shelf, right next to my glass storage containers, and then I store all the lids upright in the basket.
This makes the lids easy to find when I need one and it’s handy having them right next to all my glassware, instead of a drawer somewhere else in the kitchen.
This post almost seems too short but this is one of those super easy organizing tips that doesn’t really need a lot of explanation, ya know? How do you organize your tupperware lids? Do you have a super easy solution or did you just have an “Ah-ha” moment reading this post?
Come back Friday and I’ll show you how I organize all the snack food in our pantry! To start from the beginning and see all the posts, click HERE.

I really like this idea, but I do not think it will work if you have a lot of Tupperware. I have over 50 pieces of a Tupperware with a variety of lid sizes. Any suggestions for that?

Hey Carmen,
This is Monique, Anna’s assistant. Wow, 50 pieces of Tupperware is amazing. Anna doesn’t have that many Tupperware but suggests taking organization one step further. Try having multiple baskets with the different shaped lids. One for the circular lids. one for the rectangular lids and one for the square lids. We hope this helps!

When we moved 5 years ago, my best friend was unpacking my kitchen for me and her and I both had this “Aw-ha” moment because I had packed my lids in a basket and she just placed the basket on the shelf and we both looked at each other like we had invented the wheel, she went home and put all her lids in a basket too…it’s been amazing!

Haha, I love it! 🙂

I do this for most of my lids BUT still have a couple that are too large to stand up in the cupboard (large one gallon Pyrex bowl, couple of big square ones – we cook in bulk a lot). Still trying to find a good solution for that o.e
