December is always a CRAZY month for us! It’s always filled with lots of extra blog posts to be written and Christmas parties on the weekends, this year we have 8. Yep, EIGHT Christmas parties, and that doesn’t even include the Saturday we’ll spend at my daughter’s ballet recital.
With all the crazy busy-ness, the last thing I have time to do is clean our house, which normally wouldn’t be a problem since I hired a housekeeper earlier this year, but she’s taking December, and a couple extra months off for maternity leave. YIKES! Yay for her, but super bad timing for me.
So when WD-40 emailed me and asked me if I wanted to try their new product, 2000 Flushes Toilet Bowl Cleaner, I breathed a huge sigh of relief because not having to clean the toilets for a few months would make my life a lot easier! So today I’m sharing my easy toilet cleaning solution for this crazy busy season!
It’s a great product and super easy to use. First give the toilet a good cleaning so the product has a fresh start to keep it perfectly clean.
Then remove the top of the toilet tank. Cut the plastic pouch that contains the white tablet and then cut the plastic pouch that contains the blue tablet.
Flush the toilet and while the water is low place each of the tablets in the right, rear corner of the tank. Each time you flush, the cleaning solution will flush into the toilet and keep it clean up to 4 months, and sanitized up for 2 months!
I am so thankful for products like 2000 Flushes Toilet Bowl Cleaner that make my life a little easier during a busy Christmas season. If you want to try out 2000 Flushes in your home, click HERE to get a coupon.

And with that, I’m off to get ready for my daughter’s ballet dress rehearsal…

I just want to caution anyone with pets that these ARE toxic. I was out of town for a month on a work assignment and my MIL came to clean the house (My hubby asked.. he’s helpless apparently) She put a different brand in, in that didn’t turn the water blue, and I ended up losing one of my cats who liked to drink from the commode.
