Hi Ask Anna readers! Kimberly from A Night Owl here – a creative lifestyle blog. I’m so excited to be here today sharing a tasty treat with you while Anna is off doing wonderfully, life-changing things. A little about me – I love all things DIY, craft and cooking and am obsessed with Instagram, Pinterest – and lately popsicles! I live in sunny Arizona so the Summer months can be brutal – and popsicles are certainly a tool for survival! I recently asked on Facebook what my friends’ favorite Summer drinks were. And tea, specifically sweet tea, was a popular choice! And I have to agree. But then I thought – how GOOD would sweet tea be, in popsicle form? So I tried, and yep, pretty stinkin’ good. Here are the steps I followed…
Sweet Tea Popsicles
Ingredients
Favorite black tea
Sugar
Ice
Directions
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
Remove from heat and pour over tea bag (I used family size).
Brew for 5 minutes, squeeze tea bag and discard.
Add 3/4 cup of sugar, stir until dissolved.
Add 1 cup of ice and stir until melted.
Pour sweet tea into popsicle molds and freeze.
Simple – yet so delicious! In fact, my youngest saw these pictures on my computer and told me (with his extensive 2-yo vocabulary) that he wanted more of THESE ones! Oh and don’t worry, the ones I made were decaffeinated. The last thing I need is two boys under 4 with sugar AND caffeine, right? But I thought it was so cute that they loved the popsicles too. So I guess they’re not just for mommies! Give ’em a try!
A big thanks to Anna for having me today. I hope you enjoy the recipe! If you love this one – check out my recipe for Orange Julius Popsicles or even this popular round-up of 50 Perfect Popsicles – or just stop by and say hi!

I love the recipe! I have to ask, where did you get that popsicle mold? I have been searching for a sturdy, good quality one without much luck.

I can’t say anything about the mold Anna is using, but mine is sturdy enough. It’s made by Tovolo and I got it on Amazon. The first one I bought and it still works well, and it was less than $20, as I recall.
