Happy December, friends!!! I am so excited to be sharing my merry & bright Christmas home tour with you today! The longer we are in this house, and the more projects we finish, the more it feels like home. I love decorating for Fall but Christmas is definitely my favorite, and I usually go a little crazy. 🙂
Today I am beyond thrilled, and honored, to be joining Ashley, of Cherished Bliss, and Country Living Magazine for this amazing Christmas tour of homes. If you are stopping by after visiting House of Hoff’s home, welcome, wasn’t her home gorgeous!?
Today I’m going to share our living room and dining room with you. Our main living space is pretty much one large, open area, so if I shared all of it, you might be overwhelmed with pictures. I’m going to share the other half next week. 😉
In our home I love to decorate with teal and blue tones so most of my Christmas decorations are also very bright colors.
Last year was my first year to do a flocked tree and I loved it so much that I bought another one this year! The bright teals, and greens are so fun and really pop against the white branches.
How adorable is this little guy? When I saw him I couldn’t pass him up. My daughter named him “Leapsters” because he’s a frolicking little deer, and currently the guardian of all the presents. 🙂
I also do a traditional tree in our dining room.
I have a bunch of sentimental ornaments from my childhood, that I still love to take out every year, so I do a second tree with all of them. It’s fun reminiscing about each experience as I take them out and hang them on the tree.
I love having a tree in the dining room, because I’d have one in every room of the house if I could, but it’s also fun because this is where the family ends up gathering to eat Christmas brunch.
I am so excited that it’s finally Christmas time, my favorite thing about this time of year is turning off all the overhead lights and turning on all the Christmas lights, lighting the candles and hanging out with my family while we enjoy the twinkle of the lights. There’s something so magical about it.
Thank you so much for stopping by to see my colorful Christmas home tour! I’ll be sharing my kitchen and breakfast nook Christmas tour next week so I hope to see you then! 🙂
I would love love love to see your Christmas decorations so join me on Instagram or Facebook and use the hashtag #CLChristmasTour. I promise I’ll stop by and check them out and I might even feature some of them in my feed!
The next stop on the tour is my friend Jennifer, over at Clean and Sensible. Here home is beautiful, you will love her tour!

Hi Anna, I like your Christmas pictures but this all from 2015 anything recent. Would love to see how you it did this year 2019????????.Thank you. Just came across you on Hometalk.
Anna says
Hi Diane, thank you for asking! I haven’t done a Christmas tour the last couple years because we moved and I haven’t really been blogging since then. Each year I sort of do a similar tree with a little twist to make it new for that year. Sorry I don’t have anything new to show you but I hope my older stuff is still inspirational. 🙂
