I recently shared the new open shelves in our kitchen, which inspired me to see how others have updated their kitchens by making simple little changes. I went on HomeTalk and was actually blown away by some of the things people had done to update a kitchen on a budget!
I can sometimes find a good deal but my favorite update was done by The Vintage Farmhouse who found amazing deals on everything from the marble counter tops (I’m so jealous) to the gorgeous chandelier! I need some of her deal finding luck to rub off on me! You seriously won’t believe how amazing her kitchen turned out, for only $200!!
Another one of my favorite updates was done by the Golden Sycamore. They updated their kitchen by painting the cabinets gray and replacing their green (yes, you read that right) appliances with white ones, instead of stainless steel, to save money. There’s also a list of budget savvy ideas at the bottom of the post, that you don’t want to miss!
I also love this total kitchen makeover from Christina’s Adventures because we have similar taste. I love their open shelves and the subway tiles on the wall, that’s one of my future kitchen projects.
There are seriously so many great ways you can update your kitchen for not very much money! If you’re wanting a change in your kitchen you should definitely check out my Clipboard at HomeTalk to get inspired! Projects from an updated backsplash, to DIY roll out shelves, to an updated island and more!
Have you ever done a budget friendly kitchen update? I’d love to hear, or see what you did!
