Getting Kids to Help with Bathroom Cleaning

Do you ever wish you could just sit back and read a book, while the kids do all the bathroom cleaning?  Me too!  Because I’m lazy, I mean, because I want to teach my daughter the importance of cleaning, I’m always looking for new ways for her to help out with household chores.  Many of you have probably read my post about teaching kids how to clean and recently I’ve discovered another great chore for Malea, cleaning her bathtub.

I know it seems like that would be a hard chore for a 4 year old but with the Quickie Household Power Scrubber  it’s actually really easy!  The Quickie Power Scrubber is a really fun cleaning tool for kids because with the press of a button the sponge comes to life and the scrub brush spins around “turning it into a powerful scrubbing tool for tile, grout, tubs, chrome and other household surfaces”.

My daughter laughed hysterically when it first spun into action and then she was fascinated with it!

The key to getting kids to help you clean is to find a way for them to enjoy it and with the Quickie Household Power Scrubber it’s an easy task! First you clean the water handles…

Then clean around the drain,

all the way around…

and then don’t forget the ducky!  She thought it was great she got to give ducky a good scrub too. :)

The Quickie Household Power Scrubber comes with two cleaning heads–a sponge scrubber and bristle brush, so when your kids are done cleaning the tub you can switch over to the bristle brush and have them clean the tile too!

There are lots of other things you can clean with it, like the sinks, the stove top, tough linoleum floors, and more!  And the best part is, most of those things are areas your kids could easily clean with the Quickie Household Power Scrubber!
