When my family and I got back from Disneyland I was surprised to have a package from Cottonelle waiting on my doorstep for me! We had never used the Cottonelle Care Routine in our home so I was excited to try it out.

Cottonelle is taking a fun approach to demonstrating that nothing can be properly cleaned without the combination of cloth and water, so they have launched a series of funny videos to prove it. This is my favorite one. :)
After learning more about the flushable wipes and the Clean Care toilet paper I was excited to try them out in our home, but little did I know I was going to need it more then I thought! Two days after getting back from our vacation my daughter came down with the flu. I’m grateful she didn’t get sick while we were in Disneyland but it’s still a bummer when your baby gets sick! The Cottonelle Care Routine ended up being exactly what we needed to take care of her poor bottom after her many trips to the bathroom.
The Cottonelle slogan “You wouldn’t wash your car with a dry cloth, so why would you use dry tissue alone after going to the loo? ” makes such a good point, especially when you’re making repeated trips to the bathroom! My daughter loved the Cottonelle Fresh Care flushable wipes, they were cool and refreshing, just what her tender skin needed. The Clean Care toilet paper was also great to have because it is so soft!

My favorite thing about the Fresh Care Flushable Wipes, is that they are flushable! I have used wipes on her before, but they have never been flushable, and when you’re dealing with a sick kid who has time to take out the trash multiple times a day! I also ended up using them on her face because after you’ve thrown up it’s soothing to have something cool wipe your face off.

You don’t have to have the flu to use the Care Routine, you’ll love it even for your every day care! To learn more about it and to test your cleaning logic head over to the Cottonelle website! Oh and would you like to win one of FOUR $10,000 bathroom makeovers? {Yeah, that’s what I though, me too!} From now, until June 30th, you visit Cottonelle.com to watch the Cottonelle Wash Test videos and submit your entry for a chance to win!!! Leave me a comment below and tell me why you think you should win one of the bathroom makeovers, then head over and enter the contest!!! Good luck!!!

I fell for the “flushable” part too. I have learned recently, that just because you can flush it down, it does not mean it will break down in the sewage system. Our local sewage treatment facility was interviewed in the news and showed how these were tested in the lab, and they did not breakdown like the regular bath tissue. These type of wipes are causing all kinds of problems in sewage waste facilities, resulting in costly repairs and disposal.
These type of wipes, flushable cat litter, kleenex type tisssues, q-tips, and dental floss among other things will do down, but they don’t disappear. They are also more likely to clog your own home owners sewage system before they even get to the waste treatment facility. Better to use these items and then put in the regular trash.
Do a you tube search or google for more info. I know it was an eye opener for me.
I should so win the bathroom make over because our bathroom is sooo outdated! It’s small with a texas style bath design – closets in the bathroom. So it has great potential to be bigger and better! – Karen
I so need to win the bathroom makeover! We only have one bathroom in our home and it is very small. I would love to have new fixtures and flooring that is up to date! Love all your tips and I enjoy reading your blog!
My house was built in 1974 and never been updated. So as you can vision, we need this very badly. I really need this. I have back problems and the tub doesn’t work anymore but on a fixed income we can’t afford the re-do.
I’m curious as to why my comment was removed. Is it because it was regarding a comment about your paid post? I did not say to not use the product. In fact, I do use Cottonelle wipes, we just do not flush them on the advice of our waste treatment company.
Your comment wasn’t “removed” I’m just behind on publishing first time commentors. Since this is your first time commenting on my blog then the comment has to be approved. My daughter was sick this week and I was trying to get caught up from being on vacation last week. I have over 12 comments that are still awaiting approval, so don’t worry, you’re not the only one.
I really need to win the bathroom makeover! I have peeling paint, broken tiles and the tub needs re-glazing! Going to try the Cottonelle Care Routine too! Definitely makes sense. Thanks.
I need a bathroom makeover badly! for 3 years now we haven’t been able to use one of our bath tubs. My bath tub in the master bath is back to back with the other tub. No big deal until our plastic handle broke off. We can’t replace the fixture, they don’t make it anymore. So that means ripping out one of the tubs. So everyone is using my bath tub. I’m getting tired of this situation and it needs to get fixed soon!! This money would be so awesome for our bathroom re-do!!
We are in need of a bathroom makeover! Our shower is past needing to be replaced. However, that means also having to replace the wall that separates the shower and the tub where there is water damage. On a fixed income, it is not something we can take care of right now.
I am disabled and am living on a very limited income, I need a remodeled bathroom so bad, if you only lived here! The floor is rotting underneath the linoleum, can feel it give when you walk on it, it smells like mold, the Lino is coming loose, the shower leaks, there is only the light over the sinks, with toilet in a tiny cubby hole with no light. It has a garden tub that has stained from the water, scrubbing it with every use and it still is yellowed, not to mention that you can never fill with enough water because of the way it’s made. I agree wet clean it BETTER!!! I hope I win the remodel, I really need it. Love your site!
I would like to win this because I have a little boy who doesn’t afraid of dirt (but mommy doesn’t necessary like him to bring dirt inside the house Thanks for the chance. Like Cottonelle on Facebook: gb liem and Twitter: @plz16

i need a bathroom makeover! but for that price, maybe we could do both! the master bath is the size of a closet and pink. we painted it gray to go with the pink and it’s now not so bad. the main bath has dusty rose pink colored tile. ALL OVER! plus a wall mount toilet. the house was built in the mid 60s and hasn’t moved much in some places!
