5 Dinners in 1 Hour & a Giveaway!

I am so excited to introduce all of you to 5 Dinners in 1 Hour!  I can’t even express to you how impressed I have been with the company and their delicious meals!  So often dinner is an afterthought for me because I get busy with blogging, Malea, homework, the list goes on and on…

When I received my first monthly menu from 5 Dinners in 1 Hour, I was intimidated looking through it because all of the meals looked so delicious!  But when it came time to actually shopping and making the dinners they are so easy and so quick!  I have been so impressed with how easy and delicious all of the meals are!  Even my picky eaters {hubby and daughter} have loved all the recipes!

Let me have Michelle, the founder of 5 Dinners in 1 Hour, tell you a little more about them.

I have 3 busy kids that are in an activity almost every night of the week and weekends.  I found us going through the drive through several nights a week and I did not enjoy feeding my kids deep fried dinners.  The concept came from years ago when I did freezer cooking.  I knew I did not have time to freezer cook, but I knew having the food prepped ahead would save me tons of time on busy weeknights.  I began cooking this way and realized this could help many moms that are struggling with the same problem.

Making sure a healthy dinner is on the table every night can be stressful.  I do all the research, organizing and planning so my customers can just print, shop & prep their way to easy weeknight dinners.  They can choose from Classic, Clean Eating and Gluten Free menus.  All of which have family friendly recipes that feed 4-6.

And just because Michelle is so awesome she is going to share one of her delicious recipes with us today!

Oven Beef Fajitas

Ingredients
2 1/2 lbs top round steak
2 bell peppers
1 large onion

2 T lime juice
2 t crushed garlic
1 T chili powder
Salt to taste
2 T olive oil

Assembly-
Cut steak, onion and peppers into thin slices and place in large zipper bag.  Add next 5 ingredients to same zipper bag.  Zip and squish around to mix.

Cooking directions-
Place steak, peppers & onions on large baking sheet covered with foil.
Bake 450 degree oven for 12-15 minutes or until desired doneness.

Serve on flour tortillas or on a salad for a gluten free meal.

That recipe sounds amazing, I’ll have to add that one to my list!  I love that this is a company “dedicated to helping others feed their families healthy food that is fast and easy” because I want to feed my family healthy meals too but I don’t want to have to always give up my evenings to do it!

Would you love to win a menu of planned out meals, the shopping lists that would save you a ton of time and a lot of hassle?!  Well you’re in luck because Michelle is giving away a FREE six month subscription of the Classic Menu!  That’s six months of easy, delicious meals planned out for you.  That sounds amazing to me, I think I want to win this giveaway! {smile}

Oh, cool! With three soccer players (and their coach) in the family, I consider it a true victory to have everyone around the table for a home-cooked meal (even if we eat in shifts). Can’t wait to try this! Thanks for bringing it (and all of your other lovely ideas) to us readers!

    Warmly,

I’ve never heard of this, but thank you for featuring it! I’ve been checking out their website and their selection is great! I’m interested in clean eating, but was nervous that it would be too “plain” for my family, and they have some great sample meals on their website.

I would love to win a trial subscription and even paying for it, the price is very reasonable!

I have four freshmen this year. It is hard to come home from work and have something ready for dinner quickly when everyone is on the go. DH works nights so he is heading out the door most of the time while we are grabbing something and running to the nights activitiy. This would be a great thing for our family!
