When I received my Arm & Hammer Double Duty Clumping Cat Litter in the mail I had no idea how much it would change things around our house. I can honestly say that everyone is just a little bit happier.

Now there’s only one problem… right before, seriously like the day before, I received my Double Duty Clumping Cat Litter box in the mail I had gone to Costco and purchased a 40lb bag of another type of litter. It’s actually a litter I hate but it was on sale (probably trying to get rid of it) and so I purchased it. Now that I have discovered that there truly is a superior litter out there I’m torn because I really don’t want to just throw it away. Does anyone have an oil spill that I could donate it to?

Anna, I have to tell you, I was skeptical about the Arm and Hammer litter. I have 4 indoor cats and one is male. He's very messy and his urine smells especially strong. I have tried all brands of litter, including Arm and Hammer and hated all of them for various reasons! However, you had me intrigued about this particular litter. I have now bought it for both my indoor litter boxes and I have to say, I LOVE IT! LOL I didn't expect much from it and was pleasantly surprised! It's not over perfumed, but does smell fresh. It clumps perfectly, even for our messy male cat! It makes cleaning the litter box a breeze! Thank you for recommending it! I won't be cashing in on the guarantee because I am very satisfied! – Karen

We are non-cat people but buy cat litter ….. for our trash can! Sprinkle about 1/2" – 1" layer in the bottom of your plastic kitchen trash can. If your can liner has an "oopsie" and there is any type of liquid seepage, the little catches it and clumps it and easily identifies it when liner is changed. It also helps absorb some of the trash can "funk" that happens between cleanings (I scour my trash can and bleach soak it 4 times a year). At the end of the week (in our case, we average about 3-4 liner changes a week), dump your cat litter into the bag and put a fresh layer in the bottom. Putting a little Arm & Hammer type carpet freshner adds scent if you are looking for that.
