A Quick Tip for Cleaning Bathroom Sinks

Here’s a quick tip for cleaning bathroom sinks and keeping them clean all week long.  It’s good to clean your bathroom sink once a week but in the meantime you can keep it from looking dirty by doing this simple solution.

Every time you use the sink to wash your hands: wipe it down.  I know this seems like a no brainer tip but I’m telling you if you get in the habit of wiping the rim of the sink and the faucet every time you wash your hands it will keep it looking sparkly clean.

I also wipe down the inside of the sink with my wash cloth after washing my face each night.  I really hate the way water spots make your sink look dirty so wiping it down keeps the water spots off and keeps the sink clean until I actually clean it once a week!

I hope you enjoy this simple solution!

I kind of do this too. Its usually in the morning after I brush my teeth though, when I see all the water spots and toothpaste dots that come from brushing teeth. I will wipe up the sink and faucet real quick. But I like the idea of doing it when ever I wash my hands.. since we have three bathrooms and I only brush my teeth in our master bathroom. This way I can do the same for each bathroom. Love it.

I totally do this…my kids are another story! I can't keep on top of them in their bathroom. However, they have to take turns wiping down all the counters every day with wipes so that they get their gooey toothpaste and soap off. Becky B.www.organizingmadefun.blogspot.comOrganizing Made Fun

Ugh! Try getting your husband to wipe the sink down, or wipe the mirror off after somehow magically flicking water and toothpaste all over it after brushing his teeth! HUGE annoyance!!

I leave a roll of paper towels by the sink and dry my hands with them and use the moist towel to wipe down the sink and faucet. My cousin's mom does the same thing in the kitchen except she throws it on the floor and wipes around the floor or any spots she sees. She hardly ever has to mop.

I have even trained my elderly blind mother who lives with us, to do the same. She can't see the sink of course, but she is sweet enough to help me keep it sparkly clean!

Why would you use your face cloth to wipe out a sink that other people spit in? That you yourself spit in? Would it be better to use a clorox clean up wipe?
